We’re so glad you’ve chosen Local Escape Indonesia for your next adventure! Before you dive into booking that dream getaway, there are just a few things we need to cover. Don’t worry, we’ll keep it simple and easy to follow. By using our website and booking your trip with us, you’re agreeing to these terms, so let’s get started!

  1. The Basics (Definitions)
    • Service: All the awesome travel packages we offer.
    • Client (That’s You!): The lovely person or group booking a trip with us.

  2. Booking & Payment: How It All Works
    • Reservations: Once you’ve picked your adventure, let’s lock it in! All bookings depend on availability, and prices might vary depending on when you book.
    • Payments: A small deposit of 30% from the total price at the time of booking is needed to confirm your spot, and the rest should be paid 14 days before you take off. If you don’t pay in time, we might have to cancel and the deposit can’t be refunded by any means possible (and we’d hate for that to happen!).
    • Cancellations: Things come up, we get it. If you need to cancel, just give us a heads-up in WhatsApp. Due to our incurring costs in cancelling your travel arrangements, you will need to pay a cancellation fee. Here’s how the compensation fee for cancellation work:
      • More than 14 days before departure: 30% compensation fee.
      • Less than 13 days before departure: 50% compensation fee
      • Less than 7 days before departure: 100% compensation fee
  3. Need to Make a Change? (Reschedules)
    • You’re allowed 1 (one) reschedule in the same year. If you’d like to reschedule for the following year, we’ll need to adjust the price if there’s been an increase.
    • We can’t guarantee that every request will be possible, and some changes may come with additional costs. Here’s how the compensation fee for rescheduling work:
      • More than 30 days before departure: Free of charge!
      • Less than 29 days before departure: 10% compensation fee
      • Less than 14 days before departure: 30% compensation fee
      • Less than 7 days before departure: 50% compensation fee
    • Sometimes, we might need to tweak the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (like weather or road conditions), but we promise it’ll still be awesome.
  4. Travel Prep: What You Need to Know
    • You’re responsible for making sure you have everything readyβ€”this means valid passports, visas, health certificates, or vaccinations. We can’t help with any extra costs if you’re missing something, so double-check before you go!
  5. Our Limitations
    • While we aim for everything to be perfect, some things are out of our hands (acts of nature, strikes, etc.). We’re not liable for anything that’s beyond our control, but we’re here to help as much as possible!
    • Our liability is limited to the cost of your booking.
  6. Travel Insurance: Your Safety Net
    • We strongly recommend getting travel insurance to cover cancellations, health issues, lost luggage, and more. It’s always better to be safe than sorry!
  7. Be Awesome (Client Conduct)
    • Please be respectful of the local culture, laws, and customs. If any behavior is inappropriate, we may have to end your trip earlyβ€”though we really hope that never happens!
  8. Our Website (And Cool Stuff You See Here)
    • Everything on our websiteβ€”images, text, designsβ€”is ours, so please don’t use it without our permission.
  9. Laws & Disputes
    • Our terms follow the laws of Indonesia. If any disputes pop up, we’ll handle them through arbitration in Jakarta/Bali, Indonesia.

    • We might update these terms from time to time, but we’ll always give you a heads-up. Keep an eye on our website for any changes.
