Seru banget! Semua kegiatan nya menyenangkan dan yang bikin semakin seru karena mendengar cerita2 seputar waykambas, gak cuman pengalaman yang bertambah tapi ilmu pun bertambah. Dan saya merasa local escape sangat perhatian terhadap detail2 kecil (details di itinerary, vest, hadiah postcard, boots, jas hujan). Overall berasa well-made bangett trip nya.

This trip to WayKambas felt just like a school trip—only better. Surrounded by nature, wildlife, and culture, we learned so much while having fun. From bird coaching sessions to spotting other amazing animals, meeting Melly, Chantika and other elephant, every moment was educational, exciting and unforgetable. It wasn’t just a getaway—it was an immersive journey into conservation, culture, and the wild beauty of Lampung

From the beginning, the booking procedure was as easy and very informative. The guidebook was detailed and even had a ‘what to carry’ list, which is quite useful for me who RARELY goes out on outdoor trip. Both the admin team and the trip facilitator were very responsive and helpful throughout.

The tour guide was awesome, very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. His storytelling and how he relayed the information made the stories engaging. The photographer was incredible. I couldn’t have asked for a better one. Every photo was stunning and truly captured the joy and excitement we experienced throughout the trip. The food: not a single miss, every meal was delicious.

I really appreciate the thoughtfulness and sense of “idealism” that came through during the trip. You people really kept to your word of providing Uncommon Local Experience. It showed in every detail, even in the plastic free utensils.

I have to say that this was one of the best trips I have been on. Seeing elephants in the wild has been a bucket list dream of mine, and I’m so glad I got to experience it with Local Escape. Looking forward to my next trip with you guys!

All the guides were very knowledgeable about the place, the species, or anything that participants asked. Everyone was super helpful from the drivers down to the guides and even the people owning the small businesses in explaining what they do. Overall I think you guys hit the correct spot in prioritizing which aspect of the trip was important, e.g., accommodation style is not as important as how knowledgeable the guides are, as long as it’s clean and comfy enough then it’s enough. I had a really good time, thank youu!!

I’m VERY VERY SATISFIED with everything. The service, the knowledge, the itinerary, everything. Semua kegiatan dan tetek bengek yang dibuat sama LE bener-bener memenuhi semua mimpi dan keinginanku tentang main di Way Kambas. It’s amazing to visit the elephant camps and listened to the volunteers stories. Trip kemarin aku bener-bener ngerasa hoki udah join di kloter ini sih karena bisa masuk PLG lewat undangan. It was one of the best trips I’ve ever had!! I will definitely join another Way Kambas trip but in rainy season ???? YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!

Your focus on eco-friendly and socially responsible travel has made a positive impact on local communities and wildlife as well. It’s great how you also prioritize education and awareness for travelers about the challenges these communities face. We especially like that you involve locals, empowering them to be a key part of their community’s development. Additionally, it is also nice to have the number of travelers limited.
